I watched the Montel Williams show and I was impressed that such young girls have stepped up to help others. I have a daughter, and I think that this movie would benefit her, and give my husband and I a little peace, knowing that she has the information needed to ward off a possible attack.

I was just setting for my daily coffee when Montel came on, I heard about the DVD that two young girls had made, so I watched your DVD. WOW! How proud I was to see what a great job you and your friend had done, and now by paying it forward will help so many young girls and even children. I was a victim many many years ago and it still haunts me to think I had no idea on how to fight back. My attacker was not a stranger but my own father, however if I had known or seen a DVD such as yours I would have known to fight no matter who was the assaulter was.

I'm now a grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren and I don't know what I would do if anyone ever hurt them. I'm so proud of the work you have done and the strength and courage you have shown in your DVD.

Hi there, I saw you on the Montel show today and I have to say KUDOS to all of you who were involved in the making of this video!!!

You have strength and hearts of gold for spreading awareness of this kind. I have 3 daughters, aged 14, 8, and 6, and I can't stress enough as to the worry that I have on a daily basis being their mother, I worry about them walking to and home from school, about playing outside, and even being in a public place with their father and I, all it takes is a split second for someone to grab them.
You are all in my prayers and God is holding a special place for you all.

I'm a retired Police Officer and know full well the unfortunate dangers that are out there in our society today. Thank you for taking the time and effort to put this video together, you are a credit to your generation.

Having been a survivor of date rape in my teens I try to educate my 14 yr old daughter daily but sometimes I think it falls on deaf ears I'm hoping this DVD will EMPOWER her the way I was not...

I saw you on Montel this morning and wanted to tell you how awesome I think you are for doing an awareness video for not only teens but anyone. I am a mother of four children three boys and one girl. I would love to have a dvd to teach them how to protect themselves. I also plan to take the dvd to the local schools and see if I can get them on board with your mission to protect people from predators. Keep up the good!

I want to start out by saying thank you for making this video, I think it will help a lot of young girls defend themselves from an attacker. I have several nieces that I want to see this video so that maybe they will know how to act if they ever find themselves in an unthinkable situation. I wished I had known about something like that when I was a teenager/young woman. I was date raped when I was twenty years old and I did not think there was anything that I could do because I went with this guy on my own free will. I tried to fight back but it was not enough. Please send me this video because I want the girls in my family to be prepared.

I learned about this DVD just one day after they arrested a man who raped an 11 year old girl close to our neighborhood in Olympia. I have a 12 year old girl and want her to be prepared to protect herself.

My wife and I saw the film clip for "Just Yell Fire" last evening on the Evening Magazine show on the local KING TV station. We have granddaughters, daughters and church young women's group [and many others] that we would like to show this information.

We have facilitated teaching our daughter, as well as ourselves, the basics of Karate during high school and she has gone on with her training during graduate school. We have always felt that investment produced so much for our peace of mind and her confidence. We always talk to young girls of the need to be aware, proactive in response and downright hostile and hurtful to allow escape. Your film gives such simple techniques, and is so very timely, and shows how straight forward and simple a response to danger can be that will allow escape.
