Freshman Dallas Jessup will testify in front of the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission in Washington, D.C., during a federal human trafficking hearing tomorrow.
Jessup, the founder of the non-profit organization Just Yell Fire, will testify at the hearing titled "Human Trafficking: International and National Implications" and will speak to what self-defense moves young women can do to prevent being a part of the statistics of human trafficking.
The commission is chaired by U.S. Rep. James P. McGovern (D-Mass.) and U.S. Rep. Frank R. Wolf (R-Va.). and works to promote, defend and advocate internationally recognized human rights norms in a nonpartisan manner both within and outside of Congress.
